Glastry College PTA had an AGM meeting on the 19th September 2011. Carolyn Porter – Chairperson, Alison Smith – Secretary and Julie Allen – Treasurer were re-elected for another year.
PTA had a very successful 2010/2011, with the Ulster Scot event raising a total of £2,487.88 which in turn will be used to enhance the studies of all GlastryCollege pupils.
PTA is excited to announce our next event scheduled for Friday 4th November 2011 at 7.30 pm “The Boat Factory”. This fabulous piece of theatre, written by Dan Gordon and directed by Philip Crawford is open to persons age 12 and upwards and tickets can be purchased directly from school at a cost of £10.00 to include supper.
The first PTA social event of the year took place at bowling at Dundonald followed by food at Blue Chicago Grill on Monday 17th October 2011.
